I collaborate with individuals and organizations to create healthy, intelligent spaces where folks can be empowered to learn and sustain their own practices of wellbeing.
Wellness for me is seeking balance between input and output; whether it's found in the form of physical activity and healthy eating, teaching and learning, communication and contemplation, effort and rest, community and solitude, engaging or withdrawing the senses.
Personable Guide & Wise Leader
I very much believe that if your guide of the moment is not leading the way into mystic waters with a hint of a smile in their eyes, they’re not really taking you any further than your daily experience…
I teach a variety of somatic techniques including traditional yoga, Hatha/Vinyasa, Yin, and Restorative, as well as contemporary somatic practices such as Laban/Bartenieff and Franklin Method. Meditation classes may take the form of a traditional Mindfulness practice or a TM/Vedic style meditation using mantra, breathwork, mudra, and mala. Yoga Nidra is also a favourite technique that is often woven into the subtler yoga and deeper meditation practices.
From intimate coffee shop settings to City-owned greenhouses, my vision is to create a place of connection, comfort and discovery in every corner within our communities. I often work with local entrepreneurs and community organizations and I’m always open to requests from collaborators. Corporate wellness events and speaking engagements are available upon request and more information can be found at.
Thai Yoga Massage is an intimate and mindful art of touch, and a meditative dance of loving kindness and energy exchange. The basis of the technique is grounded in the manipulation of the energy lines, called nadi or chi, that run throughout the body. Blending elements of acupressure, yoga stretching, reflexology, cranial sacral therapy, physiotherapy, meditation, and Ayurveda to activate these energy lines, certain blockages that manifest in pain and illness can be opened to make room for healing.
